Vidal is reluctant to swap his hairdo for the Champions League trophy
Barcelona player, Arturo Vidal, is eager to win the Champions League this season. However, Vidal is reluctant to exchange this dream with his hairstyle.
This attitude was conveyed by Vidal while attending a press conference ahead of the Barcelona vs PSV Eindhoven match, which will take place at the PSV Stadium on Thursday morning WIB (29/11/2018). The two teams met in the preliminary round of Group B of the 2018/19 Champions League.
"I just shaved my mohican hair when I retired," said Vidal.
"Obviously, my dream is to win the Champions League, but that has absolutely nothing to do with my style," said the 31-year-old.
Vidal's style is unique. Both sides are plastered, but the center is left longer in a line that runs from front to back. This form is similar to the Mohican hair style or later it is also known as the Mohawk hairstyle.
Hairstyles like this have long adorned the player's head from Chile. Vidal's appearance is also more eccentric with the addition of a thick beard that adorns his chin.
Vidal's ambition is understandable. Because it has been the last three seasons, the Blaugrana have always failed to bring home the Big Ear trophy. Last season, Barcelona's steps stopped in the middle of the road after losing to AS Roma in the quarter-finals.
Barcelona itself has secured a place in the last 16 of the 2018/19 Champions League even though there are still two games left. Currently, the team from Catalonia is still at the top of Group B with a total of 10 points from four matches.
On the fifth matchday, Barcelona will meet PSV in the Netherlands. Vidal who has been marginalized has the opportunity to appear in this duel. "We are working on that and it is very important to avoid goals if we intend to win all the titles available," said Vidal.
"Our confidence is high and we are trying to show an interesting game. As is known, Barcelona has many great players, but little by little it starts to be important too. We still have a lot of crucial games left and hope the injured players get better soon so that Barcelona can be even better. again, "said Vidal.
